The program runs for 26 weeks. Each week you work through a real mortgage scenario — read it, form your own approach, submit your thinking, then debrief with Jason. Week by week, the complex becomes familiar.

The curriculum

Six modules.
Every complex scenario.

Each module covers a specialist area of mortgage broking. Real-world scenarios each week — with supporting documents, pre-session submission, and a live 1:1 debrief with Jason. Two scenarios per week means Scenario A and B, so no two brokers ever have the same program.

Self-Employed & Income Documentation
Sole traders, company directors, trust distributions, accountant letters, and add-back calculations across two years of financials.
Weeks 1–5 · 10 scenarios
Module 02
Complex Security & Property Types
Rural acreage, off-the-plan shortfalls, high-density units, dual occupancy — and the lender policies that govern them.
Weeks 6–9 · 8 scenarios
Module 03
Credit Impairment & Conduct History
Defaults, Part IX debt agreements, bankruptcy discharge, and how to present impaired credit files to the right lender.
Weeks 10–13 · 8 scenarios
Module 04
Complex Borrower Structures
SMSFs, discretionary trusts, company borrowers, foreign income, overseas employment, and multi-entity applications.
Weeks 14–18 · 10 scenarios
Module 05
Construction, Bridging & Development
Owner builders, fixed-price contracts, QS reports, bridging scenarios, and residential duplex development finance.
Weeks 19–22 · 8 scenarios
Module 06
High-Stakes, Niche & Capstone
Family law intersections, elderly guarantors, overseas income, complex credit stacking, and a full capstone deal review.

Read the scenario

A named client with real income figures, property details, and complications — the kind of deal that lands on your desk. Take time to form your own view before looking at the preparation points.

Submit your thinking

Before each session, complete your pre-session notes — lender selection, structuring approach, and the specific questions you want answered. Jason reads every submission before the call.

Your session with Jason

Your submission is the starting point. Jason works through policy, lender options, deal presentation, and structuring decisions with you — not at you.

Mark complete, advance

After your session, mark the week done in your private portal and the next scenario unlocks. Progress tracked across all 26 weeks.

Between sessions

Program participants get ad hoc phone access for urgent deal questions between weekly sessions. That direct access is part of what makes this program different.

Professional designation
4th in South Australia to hold the MFPA

Australia's most advanced broker qualification.

Jason holds the Mortgage Finance Professional Australia (MFPA) designation — Australia's first and only university-level qualification for mortgage brokers, developed by the MFAA in partnership with RMIT Online.

Launched in 2025 and modelled on the designations held by accountants and lawyers, the MFPA recognises brokers who demonstrate excellence across ethics, education, experience, and professional conduct. Jason was among the first in the country — and the 4th in all of South Australia — to earn it.

Jason Given

Jason is a mortgage broker and director of Lendology, based in Adelaide SA. He has built a practice at the complex end of residential lending — self-employed income, credit impairment, construction finance, SMSF, and non-standard borrower structures are week-to-week work, not exceptions.

He is an active MFAA member, an MFPA designee, and one of the first brokers in the country to hold Australia's most rigorous professional broker qualification. He built this program because most broker education stops well short of the deals that genuinely test you.

The difference in this program is that Jason reads your submission before every call. Your session is built around your thinking — not a generic rundown of the topic.
